Interrogating Justice’s Importance
Despite being home to just 5% of the world’s population, the U.S. is home to nearly 25% of the world’s incarcerated people. Yet it’s often hard to find straightforward discussion about how the decisions by our lawmakers, courts and agencies got us here. And it’s also hard to find understandable explanations of what we can do to fix it. That’s where Interrogating Justice comes in, aiming to shed light on the obstacles preventing our country’s justice system from being just.

Interrogating Justice’s Commitment
The team at Interrogating Justice envisions a world where the justice system achieves what should be its only goal: justice. We do this by working with experts who have hands-on experience — fighting for justice in courtrooms, in prisons and beyond. Together, our team of attorneys, advocates and allies provide straightforward analysis of legislation, legal decisions and more. And we explain how these issues impact your everyday life and why they should matter to you.

Interrogating Justice’s People
To succeed, Interrogating Justice needs people with experience at every stage of the justice system. We need people with academic and practical expertise like lawyers, journalists and analysts. These experts play a crucial role in helping readers understand the laws and decisions impacting their daily lives. But we also need justice-impacted people with real-life experience inside the system itself. If you have academic or real-world experience and want to join our team, we’re looking for you.
